Niagara Falls 2015

So it seems I have blogged everyday for like the last week! How exciting. I have been on a dry spell, mostly because I needed a new PC because my old one was super slow. So now that I have a new one and I have it figured all out, I'm back at it. Especially now that we are trying to travel more, I really want to remember all of our experiences.

I do want to blog quickly about are weekend getaway in April to Niagara falls. We left on a Saturday after my nephews birthday party, stayed in London Ontario for the night, then got to the falls early the next morning.

We stayed at The Marriot Fallsview and the view was spectacular. We walked around downtown, played neon golf, Ripleys believe it or not, had lunch, and then headed down to the falls. Because it was April, not much of the attractions were open. We weren't able to go on the Maid of The Mist boat ride and that was the number 1 thing I was hoping to do. But we did get to go down into the tunnels that go behind the waterfalls, and that was really neat. Besides all the walking we had to do, the kids had a good time.

Mothering | Mother's Day 2015

Last night as I watched my boys dance, laugh, and play around in the yard while I sat next to the fire, I caught myself in a moment of frozen time. I focused on how Cameron had tied his shoes, how the back of his head is identical to his dad's, how small Dominic's eyes get when he smiles, the shape of their shirtless bodies as I realize that they are growing into little men right before my eyes. Their giggles, the sound of their breathing as they chased each other around the yard. I love being a mom, watching them grow into these fantastic little boys. Being their mother brings so much love and joy to my heart.

My boys, my sweet, sweet boys.

How I love you ever so much.

Love, Mommy.

Cancun 2015

At the end of March we traveled to Cancun with a few friends of ours, Heather and Nate. Heather is a labor and delivery nurse as well and a close friend of mine. We had a great time, and had plenty to do and see.
